How to Explode Your Business: 5 Must Read Books

If you’ve ever started a network marketing business and failed to recruit or sponsor anyone, you know how that feels. It makes you wonder what you’re doing wrong, what you can do better, and how you can be better. Network marketing is a skill that must be learned to have long term success.

The best way to grow a business long term is to build a network. How do you build a network, authentically?

You build a great network by being a person worth knowing. Here are five books that help you become that person.

1. 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership by John C Maxwell

If nothing else, knowing the law of influence may change your business. The book explains that the true measure of leadership is influence- nothing more, nothing less. Leadership is the ability to influence the behavior of others. If you can influence others, you can truly help them, lead them, and build a sustainable business.

Maxwell explains this and twenty other laws in this book. It’s one all future (and current) leaders should read and reread.

2. Compound Effect by Darren Hardy

When some people don’t have immediate success, they quit. The Compound Effect shows you why this is a bad move. In short, every little thing you do, day in and day out, compounds to have a massive result in your life.

Quitting early is silly and bad habits are worse. Darren Hardy gives suggestions and ideas for how small shifts create huge long term changes in your life. All the success stories we see are a product of the compound effect.

3. Your First Year in Network Marketing: Overcome Your Fears, Experience Success, and Achieve Your Dreams! by Mark Yarnell and Rene Reid Yarnell

Repeat after me: You can do this. That’s what Your First Year in Network Marketing will show you. Every single possible pitfall or mistake is covered in this book. If you’re an experienced marketer, you’ll cringe and laugh at the mistakes you recognize. If you’re new, you’ll feel relieved to see the exacts you made don’t have to continue to happen.

This book changes businesses and lives.

4. Go Pro by Eric Worre

A quick read, this is the first book any new network marketer should read. While it doesn’t touch on social media or attraction marketing, or marketing at all, it does encapsulate and teach the basic network marketing skills all marketers need to know. If you’re successful, this is the book you recommend to anyone who isn’t yet succeeding.

Go Pro is full of duplicatable tips and tricks for network marketers of every level.

5. How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie

How to Win Friend and Influence People is one of the most recommended books by people in any form of sales. The name sounds almost cheesy these days and the title is so often referenced, there are people who don’t even know it’s an actual book. This book does exactly what the title says. It’s a book worth reading and rereading, whether you’re looking for success as a network marketer or in any are of life.
